Whether with paint, pencil or pixels the Medicine River Watershed Society invite you to our “Plein Air” art and photography day Sunday, September 15, at the Gilby Hall (Lacombe County). Artists, whether dabbler or a pro, meet at the hall at 10 am, choose a site from our picturesque locations map, create your masterpiece and display your work later that day at our supper and social time. Photographers, whether novice or pro, bring your photos (enlargements display best) with your name on the backs, to the hall for 3 pm to display for the public at the supper/ social time to follow. Friends and neighbours, you are invited to the hall for the art showing and to enjoy free supper – supper at 5 pm with art viewing until 7 pm. Bonus: Parents join your children at an art table for kids from 3:30 – 5 pm with art supplies provided. Guest artist Sharon Rübeling from Rocky Mountain House will be featured.
