Native Trout Workshop Series (Multiple Dates)
March 10, 2021 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
In our 2021 Native Trout Workshop we are aiming to increase awareness of the issues surrounding native trout and the watershed health. This will be done by focusing on developing a culture of pride and responsibility to native trout; increasing the knowledge base and understanding of native trout, their habitats, and the threats they face; and encourage and highlight ways the audience can get involved in conservation and restoration of native trout and their habitats.
With this years Native Trout Workshop being online we are merging the pre-existing Native Trout Workshop/Westslope Cutthroat Trout Workshop in the south with the planned additional Native Trout Workshop in the north.
The workshop will include 4 sessions split over 4 weeks with interactive components and a Q&A session with the panelist.
March 10th – Session 1: Introduction to Native Trout
March 17th – Session 2: Community-Based Action
March 24th – Session 3: Research and Tools for Native Trout Work
March 31st – Session 4: Regulatory Framework & Challenges
