You are invited to the Red Deer River Watershed Alliance’s Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, June 15th from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. This event is free to attend and will be held via Zoom.
The meeting will feature a keynote presentation from Dr. Monica Emelko (University of Waterloo) and Dr. Uldis Silins (University of Alberta), focused on the effects of landscape disturbances on Alberta’s water supplies and strategies for source water protection. This will be followed by the Annual General Meeting business, featuring an update from the RDRWA, Board elections, and plans for 2021/22.

David Thompson Corridor Clean-Up

Join the David Thompson Climbers Association for the David Thompson Clean -Up on Saturday, June 26th at 10:30 am
10:30 am : Meet at the Pinto Lake staging area (approximately one km after the Cline River bridge). Garbage bags and gloves will be provided. Upon arrival you will be given a map to a designated area.
A volunteer leader will greet you and assist you with directions should you need it. Please bring back all garbage to be taken out and weighed!
1:00 pm: After the clean up they will meet back at the staging area for prizes from their sponsors
Please bring a mask in case you end up working closely with someone outside of your family group.
