You are invited to the Red Deer River Watershed Alliance’s Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, June 15th from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. This event is free to attend and will be held via Zoom.
The meeting will feature a keynote presentation from Dr. Monica Emelko (University of Waterloo) and Dr. Uldis Silins (University of Alberta), focused on the effects of landscape disturbances on Alberta’s water supplies and strategies for source water protection. This will be followed by the Annual General Meeting business, featuring an update from the RDRWA, Board elections, and plans for 2021/22.

The Canadian Rockies Youth Summit

The Canadian Rockies Youth Network & Summit aims to educate and empower youth to take action on environmental issues affecting their shared mountain spaces. The Upcoming environmental youth Summit is a youth led, designed, and co-organized Summit. ‘The Biosphere Institute of the Bow Valley’ is the managing partner organization and generous funding has been provided by the Calgary Foundation.
Opening Ceremonies – Campfire Benefit Concert, May 12, 7 pm – 9 pm. Musicians, artists, and story-tellers to kick off the Summit. Funds raised will go towards Next Year’s Canadian Rockies Youth Summit.
