Kamp Kiwanis Open House in Bergen

Kamp Kiwanis will be having an open house on Thursday, October 26,2023 at the Bergen Community Hall in Bergen. They plan on building another kids camp/ retreat within Mountain View County. The Kamp plans to build an enormous manmade pond for canoeing. They propose to have two islands within the pond. they expect to haul in several thousand tons of clay to hold the massive amount of water needed. Also, the massive pond is very close to a flowing creek. the website for this proposed camp is www.kampkengage.com
