RDRWA welcomes Sam Bennett

Hello, my name is Samantha Bennett. I grew up in Innisfail where I still live today. I have been hired at RDRWA as the Summer Education and Outreach Coordinator. I am a 2nd year Environmental Science student majoring in Wildlife and Fisheries Conservation at Lakeland College in Vermilion, AB. Some of the things I have gained knowledge in at school are plant and animal biology, ecology, conservation of species-at-risk, enhancing and conserving habitat, aquatic habitat, sampling, and conservation. I have gained advanced knowledge in aquatic habitat and waterways.

In my personal time I enjoy travelling, camping, paddle boarding, and photography. Professionally my main area of interest is wildlife biology and conservation. I love to learn new things and doing hands on work. That is why I am excited to be joining the team at RDRWA to be a contributing member spreading awareness about our watershed.
