It has been a hot dry summer and there are currently water shortage advisories in some areas of the province. Within the Red Deer River Basin, Threehills- Kneehills creeks, Rosebud Rivers, Matzhiwin-Onetree Creeks, Little Red Deer River, Medicine-Blindman Rivers are experiencing water shortages.
