The Red Deer River Watershed Alliance would like to welcome Amy Charles to the team. She is a Métis student working towards a sociology degree with a minor in global studies.
Amy loves being outside and all the gear that comes with that. She is definitely a warm – weather activity lover and enjoys hiking, camping, and paddle boarding. Amy is a pretty avid traveler and enjoys volunteering aboard. That is how she got started with non-profit work and ended up applying for a position with the RDRWA.
Amy started working as RDRWA’s Indigenous Knowledge Coordinator on May 15th.She loves working with people and going with the flow (pun intended).
