Dear Partners and Watershed Members,
After almost 6 years, I have made the difficult decision to move on from my position as Watershed Engagement and Communications Manager with the Red Deer River Watershed Alliance. My “official” last day will be on Friday, February 10th, 2023.
As I reflect back on my time with the RDRWA, there are so many experiences that I will recall fondly. Filming Source Waters: The Rivers That Shape Us and travelling by horseback to the headwaters of the Red Deer River in the Skoki Valley in Banff National Park was certainly a highlight of my professional career, as was working with partners from across the basin on countless watershed and riparian initiatives over the last few years.
Even though I am moving on, I continue to deeply value the work of WPACs and I am grateful for the wisdom gained, the broad network of connections, and the memories made in support of watershed management in the basin and beyond! Thank you to all of the individuals and organizations who have helped to make my time with the RDRWA so memorable. I am proud of the momentum that we have built together!
Rosemarie
